2024 Football and Cheer Registration

Carolina Storm, a non-profit Youth Sports and Development organization, is dedicated to cultivating young athletes by imparting not only the fundamentals of sports but also the values of integrity, commitment, accountability, and teamwork. Over the past year, we've been steadfast in teaching the proper techniques of tackle football, position-specific skill development, and character building for each player within our organization. Our goal is to ensure that every participant ends the season not just as an athlete but, more importantly, as an individual.

What to Expect from Travel Football and Cheer Registration:

To afford our players the best opportunity for development, Carolina Storm is proudly affiliated with CAAYF for the 2024 season. As you consider registering for travel football, here are some common questions related to planning for the season:

• Communication and Updates: All team communications, schedules, and updates will be managed through the Band app, ensuring seamless coordination.
• Practice and Game Locations: Practices will be held once a week at the practice field (2024 location to be announced), and home games are scheduled at T.C. Roberson in Asheville, NC.
• Travel Tournaments: The season may include additional travel tournaments based on team performance, offering players exciting opportunities to compete in various locations.
• Season Schedule: The regular season schedule will be finalized by CAAYF by August 15th, with regionals and nationals typically scheduled for mid-November and early December, respectively.
• Weather Updates: In case of inclement weather, all updates will be communicated through the Band app and league-wide emails.

Associated Costs for Travel Football: 

While we strive to keep out-of-pocket expenses low, it's essential to understand the associated costs, including but not limited to:

 registration fees, uniform and equipment fees, and potential travel costs.

• Registration Fee: $150
• Uniform and Equipment Fee: Up to $300 (to be covered with the pre-season fundraiser)
• Travel Costs, can include gas for your personal transportation, and occasional hotel stays for out of town tournaments depending on start times or personal preference

Volunteer Requirement: 

Carolina Storm relies on the support of volunteers. For each player, a commitment of 2 hours is required for various roles such as event setup, concessions, game-day operations, and more.

Please make sure you are clear on all policies and expectations prior to completing registration. No refunds will be given for registration fees.
